What for?

Funding for Inserm research projects comes from two major sources: primarily from its own funds or grants from specialised national agencies, with a smaller share coming from private funds through collaboration with the R&D departments of health industry companies.

Growing research funding opportunities are also offered by supra-national institutions such as the European Commission or charitable foundations. Inserm Transfert contributes to funding research projects by identifying and leveraging these different sources.
